Hello ACS Family
The health of our students, staff and families is one of our top priorities and we want to keep everyone updated on what we’re doing to mitigate the risk of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). At this time I am contacting you to inform you about a decision that was made by our Superintendent, Joan Wilmes - all San Angelo Diocesan Catholic Schools will follow alternative schedules for the next week. St Mary’s Central Catholic School, Angelo Catholic School and St. Ann’s Catholic School will extend spring break.

At this time we will be extending spring break from March 16- March 20, 2020.

During this time the staff and I will be meeting to develop a plan for how to proceed after we find out how many of our families traveled during the break. If there is a high percentage of students that traveled during this time we will have a plan in place to start online classes. Unfortunately, these days missed will have to be made up and I will be looking at the calendar to determine when that will be done during the upcoming days as well.

If you or anyone in your family that you have had contact with has traveled to any of the places where the Coronavirus has been identified by the CDC, you are at this time requested to notify the school, by emailing me @ [email protected] or by calling and leaving a message. We will request that you self-quarantine for the recommended 14 days. Any self-quarantine days will be counted as excused absences.
